ANDERSON Rose (Zaleski) Anderson, age 84, of Rocky Hill, formerly of Brooksville, Fla., widow of Walter C. Anderson, died on Thursday, October 30, 2003. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Theophila (Zalenski) Zaleski. She was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft prior to her retirement. Rose was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church. She is survived by two beloved daughters, Rosalie J. Newhall of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Carol Cascio of Rocky Hill; two sisters, Helen Stoffan of Monroe, and Dorothy Howard of West Haven; five grandchildren: Mark and Gary Pohlman and Amy Ebner, all of Florida, Joseph Cascio of Wethersfield, and Susan Brodil of Massachusetts; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Zaleski; and two sisters, Josephine Sadowy and Sophie Hamele. Funeral services will be held privately with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 280 Brook Street, Rocky Hill. Interment will be at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to St. Elizabeth Seton Church.
