Rosa H. Owens - SAVANNAH - Rosa H. Owens, age 65, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2010 at Memorial Health Hospital. Born in Bulloch County, she moved to Bryan Co. where she was a graduate of Bryan Co. High School. She was retired from the Old Savannah Bank with over 40 years of service. Her last ten years at the bank she was a teller at the Mall Blvd. drive in. Rosa and her husband Buddy were former members of Ferguson Avenue Baptist Church for over 20 years before moving their membership to First Freewill Baptist Church. She was very active in supporting Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse Ministry. Survived by her loving husband of 45 years Alfred "Buddy" Owens of Savannah, GA. One niece Sherrie, three great nieces, Annalyn, Angel, Rachael. Sister-in-law Gloria Carter. Visitation: 5 - 7 PM Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 3:30 PM Friday, September 3, 2010 in the Chapel of Fairhaven with Rev. Michael Lockleer and Mr. Jimmy Burnsed officiating.
