DAVIS Roger Wesley Davis, Sr., 86, of Jacksonville, FL. Passed away at his home, May 22, 2007. Roger was born May 11, 1921 in Waco, TX. to Roy and Gertrude Davis and grew up in Oklahoma City. He was an avid boater and will be remembered always as the "Jolly Roger". He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Fran Davis; sons, Stanley Davis of Jacksonville, FL. (Elaine), Fabe Clements III of Clermont, FL. (Michele); granddaughters, Mallory Blas of Watertown, NY. (Tony), Fallin Davis of Jacksonville, FL., Catherine Perkins of St. Petersburg, FL., Lacy Miller of Cummings, GA. (Rick), Sydney Clements of Atlanta, GA.; 1 grandson, Fabe Clements IV of Atlanta, GA.; great-granddaughters; Hailey Blas of Watertown, NY., Cameron Miller and Britain Miller of Atlanta, GA.; 1 sister, Frances Cherry of Orlando, FL. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 10:00am, May 30, 2007 at All Souls Anglican Church (10679 Old St. Augustine Rd.) Jacksonville, FL 32257 and will conclude at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Blanding Funeral Home Chapel (5753 Blanding Blvd.) Jacksonville, FL. 32244. The Davis family will have a private inurnment at a later date.
