Roger Dale Waddell, 64, of 102 Landrum Drive, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at the McCall's Hospice House.A native of Greenville County, he was the son of the late Boyd Horace and Lula Mae Whitehead Waddell, a self-employed body and fender repairman, a U.S. Army veteran, and was of the Baptist faith.Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Tim Powell, Terry and Tony Hall; a sister, Barbara Dill; and six grandchildren, Will, Gavin and Baleigh Coker, Jonathan and Derrek Sims and Tori Hall, all of Greer.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Dan Elmore. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be Jonathan Sims, Derrek Sims, Will Coker, Larry Colley, Wayne Russell and Robert Odabashian.Visitation will be held 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wood Mortuary.The family is at the home of the sister, 101 Preston Drive, Greer.Online condolences may be made to family at www.thewoodmortuary.com.
