She graduated from Highland High School, Ft. Thomas, KY. She was an avid golfer and won several tournaments at Wildwood County Club. Roberta also was on the winning team at the Super Senior Tennis Tournament at the age of 85. She is a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Bridge Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mitchell, who passed in April, and granddaughter, Tricia Froman Nutter (Mark). Roberta is survived by her son, Gerry Mitchell DMD (Susan); daughter, Patricia Mitchell Froman (Robert); granddaughter, Carie Froman Holly (Mike); grandson, Robert Craig Froman (Amy) and eight great-grandchildren.The funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Margaret Mary, 7813 Shelbyville Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. at the church in the vestibule prior to the Mass.Memorial donations can be made to the Queens Daughters, 440 Knightsbridge Rd., Louisville, 40206.
