Bobbie, as she was affectionately known by everyone, was a petite person loaded with energy, spunk and feistiness, who loved to talk and make friends everywhere she went. She was born in St. Augustine, Fla., March 12, 1937. She is survived by her husband, Harold J. "Dude" Adams, of Holt, Fla.; five daughters, Deborah Rian, Kathy Howard, Dawn Nelson, Bonita Juhl and Terri Coley; one son, Billy Jones; stepson, Walter "Hoop" Adams and his wife, Tammy; stepdaughter, Sharon Adams; her brother, Kyle Pacetti; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Dewayne Adams. After moving to Crestview, Fla., she worked at the IGA grocery store, then later at the Apothecary. She enjoyed conversing with her customers, friends, and family, and was "a card playing wizard" all of her adult life. Bobbie never met a stranger and was a gracious, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was especially fond of past family history of those around her, and was in her element when gardening, working in her yard, and enjoying the outdoors. Sweet memories of Bobbie will live in our hearts forever, as each of us remembers the years we have enjoyed with her. A memorial gathering will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, at Brackney Funeral Service. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, please donate to Covenant Hospice of Northwest Florida in memory of Bobbie.
