September 19, 2006 Robert Williams, 87 years of age, of 116 E. Castle St., passed away on September 19, 2006 at Vivian Teal Nursing Home after a long illness. He was a native of Bell Glade, FL. He was a veteran of the US Army; a dock worker in New York for the Long Shoremen Local. He loved fishing and playing checkers. He is survived by four brothers, Sam (Marget) of Bayonne, NJ, Herman (Barbara Jean) of Belle Glade, FL, Orlando Pete (Ada) of Orlando, FL and Arthur of Syracuse, NY; four sisters, Deiser Zeigler of Miami, Lucille (Lester) Warren, Henrietta Rhodes and Shirley (Curtis) McDowell all of Syracuse, NY; one aunt, Selosis (Honey) Outley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours are Saturday, September 23, 2006, 10 to 11 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m. at the Hoare & Kiggins Funeral Home, 1105 Willis Ave. Burial at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
