WADDELL Robert David September 20, 1956 ~ January 8th, 2008 It is with deep regret our family announces the passing of Robert, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Throughout his illness Robert maintained his determination and zest for life as well as his sense of humour. Robert began and ended his all too short life in North Vancouver. He graduated from North Vancouver Secondary (1974) and U.B.C. (Bachelor of Commerce 1981). Throughout his real estate career Robert lived in various parts of the Lower Mainland, Saskatchewan and Ontario. For the past 16 years Robert worked within the ÃŽ711ÃŽ corporate family, most recently as Logistics and Distribution Manager. Throughout his career Robert received many awards including the prestigious Employee of the Year for 711. He loved having fun with family and friends and was always planning our next adventure, usually something done outdoors. Robert is survived by his devoted wife Tracy, daughter and best friend Kyla (aka ÃŽJoÃŽ), parents Harold and Anna Waddell, siblings Cathy Giles (Kent), Nancy Thibault (Keith), Jim Waddell (Tania), nephews Alex, Spencer, Connor, Taylor, nieces Katie, Heather, many cousins, many friends and faithful companion, Cyrus. Predeceased by first wife Lynne. Also predeceased by nephew, Robert Thibault, with whom he had a special bond. Celebration of Life to be held Saturday, January 12th, 2 pm at Highland United Church in North Vancouver. Special thanks to the many compassionate staff at Lions Gate Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation (North Shore Hospice) would be appreciated.
