<!-- FH = The Mackey Mortuary -->Robert W. Lee, 69, husband of Susan Lee, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 after a 14 month courageous battle with cancer. Bob died peacefully at home in the presence of his family.Born on July 6, 1941 in Toccoa, GA, Bob was the son of the late John H. Lee and Marjorie Andrews Lee. He graduated from Greenville HS in 1960 and attended Emmanual College and Spartanburg Junior College. He served in the United States Air Force before becoming an Air Traffic Controller and later a Flight Service Manger with the Federal Aviation Administration from which he retired in 1997 after more than 30 years in government service.In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his mother Marjorie Andrews Lee, of the home; a son Allan; daughters Tiffany (husband Richard) Woollacott of Hilton Head; Amy (husband Andy) Vick of Martinez, GA; and Kara Lee (husband Trey Lominack) of Greenville; grandchildren Kristen & Allison Vick; Erin Lee; Nicole Davidson & Rob Davidson. He was predeceased by a brother L. Wilson Lee. He is survived by his brother John W. Lee and his wife Sandra and their daughters Beth, Allison and Sandi and their families, as well as his sister-in-law Pat Bell Lee and her children Wilson and Kathy and their families, all of Greenville; sister-in-law Sally Ehnot and her daughters Becki and Bridget, and brother-in-law John Hansen of Great Falls, MT. Bob had numerous loving relatives from throughout the Southeast including NC, SC, GA and FL.Bob and Susan are members of Covenant United Methodist Church in Greer. The extended church family has been of such great support over the past many months. The blessings of this wonderful church family have been more than anyone could possibly hope or ask for. They are truly a very special part of our family.Visitation will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 1pm, followed by funeral services at 2pm both taking place at Covenant United Methodist Church.
