->ORRINGTON - Robert William Ayer, 71, passed away July 8, 2014 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Brewer, November 23, 1942 the son of Robert W. and Geneva (Morrison) Ayer.Robert was a graduate of Brewer High School Class of 1962. He enjoyed going to the gym and Power Lifting. He was a member of Mystic Lodge #69 A.F. & A.M. of Hampden and Anah Shrine Horse Patrol. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend.Robert is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy (Guerin) Ayer, one daughter, Crystal Fonrouge and her husband, Adam and their children, Nicholas and Tyler, two brothers; Kenneth Ayer and his wife, Nancy, and Ernest Ayer and his wife, Crystal, nieces, nephews and a friend who was like a son, Louie Morrison.Family and friends are invited to visit 4-6 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Avenue, Hampden.
