DEERING - Robert J. "Sully" Sullivan, 52, died June 22, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. Mr. Sullivan was born on July 12, 1956, in Manhattan, N.Y., the son of George J. and Catherine Sullivan. He was an equipment operator for the town of Merrimack for more than 20 years. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He liked fishing, being outdoors and enjoying life. The family includes his children, Robert and Crystal Sullivan; his brother and sisters, Georgie, Eddie, Johnny, Cathy Solivan, Margaret, Linda Gilliard, Jimmy "MoonChild" and Eileen Wolfson; many nieces and nephews. IN HIS LIFE: The family members include his granddaughter, Julie Ann, whom he called his best pain medicine; and best friend and life partner, Mary. Mr. Sullivan was an avid Yankees fan and as a young boy he would sneak into Yankee Stadium to enjoy the games. He was outgoing and made friends wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him but kept alive by their memories.
