STARR - Robert Bertram (Bobby Sox) (Kamiwitahta Kakitocik Mistatimowa) Playing Thunder Horse Robert was born on the Star Blanket Cree Nation, SK on March 19, 1956 and was called home to the Spirit World on January 29, 2008 at the age of 51 years. He was predeceased by his parents Bertram and Dorothy Starr (Kapay); daughter Scarlett Faith in infancy; brothers Darrel and Clarence; nephews Earl Star Blanket and Dwayne; sisters Leanne, Delbina, Muriel, Doris and Mable; grandchildren Robert StarrWatetch and Lashon Koochicum. Robert is survived by his loving companion Donna Pelletier; sister Sharon (Lawrence) Strongarm; brothers Stewart (Pat) Koochicum, Donald (Freda) Koochicum, Billy (Norma) Koochicum and Mike (Stella) Koochicum; Lianne Bird (Allan) and Sophie Campbell whom he took as sisters; children Bobbie-Joe, Jehrome, Billy-Joe, Pamela, Dorothy Rose, Kayla, Robert Jr., Jason Ray and Jordan; 17 grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. A WAKE will be held at the Okanese Learning Centre, Okanese First Nation, SK on Friday, February 1, 2008 beginning at 4:00 p.m. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at the Okanese Learning Centre on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Traditional Burial to follow in the Star Blanket Cemetery.
