ROULEAU Robert Rouleau, 90, died peacefully in the arms of his devoted wife, on November 5, 2012. He was born in Montreal, Canada, son of the late Omer Rouleau and Berthe Jutras. Robert earned his Bachelor s degree in Finance from College Commerciale, Montreal, Canada; and was a Decorated Captain (Distinguished Service Cross, Mentioned in Dispatch in the Canadian Army during WWII). Robert was also President of the Chamber of Commerce and International Council of Shopping Centers in Montreal, Canada, Senior Partner of The Sofran Group, and Presud Associates. He immigrated to Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 1980. He developed multiple shopping centers in Canada and United States among them Sand Castle Plaza, and his last project, the luxurious Marbella Condominiums in Jacksonville Beach, where he resided with his wife Lena. He was an avid tennis and talented piano player. Survived by his lovely wife, Lena; one son, Robert T. Rouleau; two grandsons, Christopher and Matthew Rouleau of Montreal, Canada; one stepson, Fabio M. Fasanelli (Traci); five step-grandchildren, Giovanna, Fabio Jr., Gabriela, Bianca and Nicolo Fasanelli of Jacksonville, Florida; sister-in-law, Celsa G. Ferreiro of Santos, Brazil; brother-in-law, Peter Acocella of New Rochelle, New York; and several nephews and nieces in Canada. In honor of his life, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13th, in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, with Reverend William Kelly as Celebrant and Monsignor Daniel Logan as Con Celebrant.
