Robert M. Lee Valparaiso Robert M. Lee, age 93, of Valparaiso, passed away on December 24, 2005 at the Horton VNA Hospice Center. Born at Stevens Point, WI on November 17, 1912. Son of the late Martin J. and Kathryn (Jaworski) Lee. Resident of Valparaiso since 1969, formerly of Gary. He was an industrial engineer with the Gary Sheet and Tin Mill-U.S. Steel Co. for 42 years. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, a Veteran of WWII 20th Army Air Force and attended Purdue Calumet and Indiana University extension. He was a master gardener of Purdue University. Robert is survived by his wife, Catherine Lee of Valparaiso; one daughter, Theresa (Ben) Kessler of Valparaiso; two grandsons: Eric and Alec. Preceded in death by one brother, George Lee and his sister, Margaret Stickel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. from the Dykes Funeral Home for an 11:00 a.m. Mass at Queen of Apostles Chapel, St. Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Pawlowski officiating. Interment Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 4-7 p.m. with a Wake Service at 4:00 p.m. Memorials to St. Paul Catholic Church would be appreciated.
