Robert M. Flanagan, 62, died at his home in Boca Raton, FL, on July 4th after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Sara L. Flanagan for 39 years. Devoted father to Susan (Andrew) Eccher, Laura Flanagan and Robert (Lara) Flanagan. Loving grandfather to Jessica and Nicholas Eccher. Dear brother and uncle to 7 siblings and many nieces and nephews. Bob was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Remember Bob with the same smile on your face you always had in his presence. Born in Concord, NH, Bob graduated with a B.A in Economics and Business from Saint Anselm College. He moved to New York in 1968 when he joined Booz, Allen & Hamilton as a Principal. In 1981, he joined Paul Stafford Associates, LTD. where he was appointed Managing Partner and President and built the firm into a multi-national organization. In 1991, he established his own firm, Robert M. Flanagan & Associates, Ltd. focusing on management succession and executive search. In recognition of his achievements, Bob was among the "Top 100" executive search professionals. An avid golfer, Bob was a member of the Mt. Kisco Country Club and the Westchester Seniors Golf Association. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the charity of your choice in Bob's memory. A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at the First Congregational Church in Chappaqua, NY on August 3 at 1 pm.
