Post Office Retiree AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert Lewis Arrington, 70, of Augusta, entered into rest April 7, 2003, at the VA Hospital in Augusta. His beloved wife Marion Stavley Arrington of 48 years; his son, Kenneth C. Arrington; one grandson, Skylar Arrington of Augusta; one brother, Eugene Arrington and wife Wanda of Swainsboro, survive him. He was a native of Emanuel County. He is the son of the late John R. and Ina Bell Arrington. He served in the Korean War and retired from the Post Office. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at the Lumpkin Road Chapel, Elliott Sons Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Lawson officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meadowbrook Baptist Church Building Fund, 2723 Meadowbrook Drive, Augusta, GA 30906.
