TRENTON - Robert Leroy Carter, 70, of Trenton, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Linden.Born in Atmore, Ala., "Bob" was a graduate of Escambia County High School in 1961. He relocated to Trenton in 1962 and was a truck owner/operator for 40 years. Bob was a member of the Clinton Avenue Church of Christ.He was also a longtime member of Cycle Kings.Predeceased by his parents, Willie A. and Lillie B. Carter, and three sisters, Lillie B. Sanders, WillioDean Barronville and Leila Mae McCants surviving are one brother, Willie A. Carter of East Orange; four sisters, Gertrude Knight of Atmore, Ala., Agradean Hayes and Zera Bell Hayes all of Trenton and Zeola Hall of Langhorne, Pa.; two brothers-in-law, Joe N. Hayes of Trenton and Horace Hall of Swainsboro, Ga. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 434 N. Clinton Ave., Trenton, NJ 08638. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
