Bettez, Robert Leo, age 85, formerly of Lighthouse Point, FL passed away on Friday, May 23, 2008. Mr. Bettez was born on August 5, 1922 in West Warrick, RI and was a son of Armand and Floreda Bettez. He moved to the Florida area in 1963 and he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Robert is survived by 3 sisters Carmel Archambault and Pauline Salvatore both of East Greeenwich, RI, Claire Archambault of Coventry, RI, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife the former Mary Straup, and 2 sisters Doris Bettez and Juliette Corrigan. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 27, 2008 in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2700 NE 36th Street, Lighthouse Point, FL followed by interment at Pompano Beach Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Priests of the Sacred Heart Monastery, PO Box 900, Hales Corners, WI 53130.
