Mr. Robert Monroe Lee, 66, of 25 Sirrine Street, Greenville, S.C., died Sunday (April 20, 2008) at St. Francis Hospital.Mr. Lee was born January 23, 1942 in Orangeburg, S.C. to the late Monroe and Nellie Johnson Lee. He was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School. Member of Covenant Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed by Greenville Transit System and American Securities of Greenville.He was preceded in death by his wife, Odessa Gray Lee.Surviving brother, Jimmy Lee and wife, Paula, of Piedmont, S.C.; sister, Margaret Panzarelli of California; nieces, Amanda and Katy Lee; and nephew Grady Tucker.Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Graceland West Cemetery with military rites. The Rev. Brian Swafford will officiate at the graveside service. The family will see friends at Westville Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.Westville Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
