LEE, Robert Everett 1931 - 2010 Robert Everett Lee of Calgary passed away on August 19, 2010 at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Ann Lee, children Marc (Joan) Lee and Jennifer (Rob) Hawkins, grandchildren Aaron, Tamara (Ruben), Jeff and Andrea Lee, Travis, Katrinia and Cory Hawkins, siblings Olive (Clare) Caruthers and Bill (Kay) Lee. He was predeceased by his siblings Greta (Eric) Graham and Graham (June) Denisen. Special thanks to sister-in-law Norah Eaves and all the other friends and relatives who provided care and support especially in Bob's final years. Bob was born in Argentina and lived in many places in Canada and the United States before settling in Calgary. He met Pat, the love of his life one sunny day at Riley Park and they have been inseparable ever since. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan as a geological engineer, he worked almost his entire career for Canadian Superior Oil. Bob had a wry sense of humour, and was very well read, making him able to supply the family with a short history on just about everything. He developed a passion for golf and spent many of his later years enjoying a round or two at the Glencoe Golf Course. He had a soft spot for a lost cause which was illustrated by his unwavering support of the hapless Chicago Cubs. There will be an informal celebration of Bob's life at the Calgary Glencoe Club (636 - 29 Avenue S.W., Calgary) on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. for friends and family. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Parkinson Society of Canada (102 - 5636 Burbank Crescent S.E. Calgary, AB T2H 1Z6).
