CAWSEY ROBERT LAWRENCE -Robert L. Cawsey, passed away peacefully in Calgary on Aug 25, 2005 at the Rockyview Hospital. Born in Regina Saskatchewan, Bob was one of 8 children born to Frank & Eva Cawsey. He attended Connaught Elementary and Scott Collegiate in Regina. In time, he became an active Freemason, Kiwanian and was engaged in several projects with the Salvation Army. The consummate professional, Bob was active in the Regina real estate market. Following this, he joined Great West Life (in property management) which took he and his family to Ottawa, Winnipeg, Edmonton and finally Calgary in 1971 where he returned to a career in real estate. He is survived by his loving wife Lillas (nee: Williams), daughter Louise (Rod) McLeod, grandsons (of whom he was very proud) Iain and Grady of Calgary, sister Helen (Claude) Goodmurphy of Vancouver, brother E.H. (Bud) Cawsey of Moosomin SK, sister Kathleen (Roy) Graham of N. Vancouver BC, sister Betty (Ron )Waddell of Duncan BC and many nephews and neices. Bob was predeceased by his parents Frank Frost and Eva Francis Cawsey, brother Bill Cawsey, brother Dr. Lew (Muriel) Cawsey and sister Jean (Mac/Bob) Donnelly/Lloyd. Bob will always be remembered for his leadership, ethical business practices, honesty and great sense of humour. There will be a private family memorial to commemorate Bob's life.
