Robert L. HudonU.S. Navy Veteran; age 88 LOWELL -- Mr. Robert L. Hudon, age 88, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died on Monday, November 11, 2013 at a local healthcare facility. He was the beloved husband of Therese Y. (Lozeau) Hudon.Born in Lawrence on May 18, 1925, he was a son of the late Isidore and Julia (Desrosiers) Hudon.He was a graduate of Ste. Jeanne d'Arc School and St. Joseph High School.Robert was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War having received his honorable discharge in 1951.He was a longtime communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Church and more recently the Parish of Saint Rita. He was a member of the Lay Carmelite Order and was an extraordinary minister to the home bound.Prior to his retirement in 1994, Robert was employed as a technician by Shanahan Electronics.He always enjoyed spending time with his family.In addition to his wife Therese, he is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Natalie Hudon of Medway, MA and David and Melissa Hudon of Tyngsboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Denise Nimz and her husband William of Parrish, FL and Melanie Hudon of Lowell; six grandchildren, Corey Nimz, Coral Nimz, Justin Hudon, Jeremy Hudon, Sienna Hudon, Daniel Hudon; two brothers, Chanel Hudon and Paul Hudon both of Lowell; also his nieces and nephews.He was also the brother of the late Florence Coutu, Laurette Bolduc, Alphonse Hudon, Gerard Hudon and Doris Nadreau.HUDON -- died in Lowell on November 11, 2013. Mr. Robert L. Hudon, age 88, a resident of Lowell and husband of Therese Y. (Lozeau) Hudon. Relatives and friends may call at the ROLAND W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 308 Pawtucket Street, Lowell on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. ATTENDANT PARKING. Funeral Friday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9 o'clock in the Parish of Saint Rita, 158 Mammoth Rd., Lowell. The family requests, those wishing to attend his funeral mass are to meet directly at church. Committal services and burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Those wishing may make a memorial contribution to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Saint Rita Conference, P.O. Box 914, Lowell, MA 01853.
