ROBERT L. DAVIS MERRILLVILLE/ ROCKVILLE, IN Robert L. Davis, age 70, passed away at home on Monday, October 18, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Denise; sisters: Lillian Major of Hobart and Beverly Stevens of Merrillville; brother-in-law, Richard Miller of Demotte; many extended family members and friends; and his five very special Yorkie pups. Preceded in death by his parents: Leslie and Mary Davis; and sister, Yvonne Miller. Robert was a Merrillville resident for 66 years and retired from U.S. Steel with 27 years of service. Bob truly loved tooling around the neighborhood in his golf cart with his favorite cocktail. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN 46410 with Rev. John Starr officiating.
