Robert JohnsonRobert A. Johnson, 72, of St. Augustine Beach, Florida died on March 6, 2005 at Flagler Hospital. A native of Chicago, he moved to St. Augustine in 1975. He was retired major in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in both Korea and Vietnam during hostilities there. He was a member of the Riverview Recreation Club and St. Augustine Ballroom Dancers Association.Robert is survived by the love of his life, Mary S. Stallings; one son, Patrick R. Johnson of Longwood, Fla.; two daughters, Linda K. McGovern of St. Petersburg, and Kathleen L. Robertson of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and six grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at Craig Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 9, at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.Craig Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.PAID NOTICE(Please sign the guest book at www.staugustine.com)
