Mr. Robert "Bobbie Lee" Jackson, 77, departed this life Sept. 18, 2013, at the Jesup Nursing Home after a short illness. He was born on May 11, 1936 in Riceboro. Bobbie, one of 10 children, was the son of the late Deacon John Jackson Sr. and Deaconess Lucinda Graham-Jackson.He leaves to mourn his memory a devoted daughter, Bernell Jackson-Alleyne of Riceboro, a son, Jerome Maxwell of Brooklyn, N.Y., and their mother, Jeanette Maxwell-Waye; a son, Bobbie Lee Jackson Jr. of Tampa, Fla., and his mother, Leola Manderson; a daughter, Aisha Jackson (Marcus) of Clearwater, Fla., and her mother, Christine Davidson; a loyal sister and brother-in-law, Mamie (Chris) Brown of Riceboro; a sister-in-law, Juanita Jackson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two dedicated nephews, Ralph and Jerome Brown; and a host other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.Viewing will be from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at Dorchester Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at First Zion Baptist Church, 1692 Barrington Ferry Road in Riceboro. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Rev.
