THOMAS, II Robert J., 46, of Zephyrhills, passed away February 23, 2004 in Zephyrhills. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Thomas of Zephyrhills; two sons, Robert J. Thomas III and wife Christina of Houston, Texas, and and Jasone E. Thomas of Houston, Texas; grandson, Shawn G. Thomas of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Samantha M. Thomas of Houston, Texas; parents, Robert and Jeanne Thomas of Millville, Del.; a sister, Linda Grant of Delaware County, Pa.; and a brother, Charles E. Thomas of Delaware County, Pa. A Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2004 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father John Hays officiating. A Committal Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2004 at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2004 at the funeral home, with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Mr. Thomas was born July 9, 1957 in Upper Darby, Del. to Robert J. and Jeanne M. (Hickling) Thomas. He was a veteran of the Navy, a maintenance m echanic in the steel manufacturing industry, a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and served in the Rev. Robert W. Rittmeyer Knights of Columbus Council #10671.
