Robert J. Casey Chenango Bridge, NY Robert "Bob" Casey, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 at Willow Point Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 50 years, Patricia and their devoted daughter, Lisa. He is survived by Lynn (Patrick) Kennedy of Skaneateles, NY, Daniel (Kathryn) Casey, Patrick "Joe" (Ruth) Casey, Michael (Alberta) Casey and Laurie (David) Shoop, all of Binghamton, NY. He also leaves behind his sister Eileen Allen of Nevada and a very dear family friend Florence "Flo" Snow, of Binghamton. Bob will be truly missed by his 11 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren of whom he adored very much. Bob served for a period of four years in the Air Force. He was a Sergeant in the Pacific during World War II. For over 50 years Bob devoted his life to his business, Casey Construction. He is best remembered for driving his dump truck wearing his favorite hat. Bob was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who will be missed dearly. A Memorial mass will be offered Friday June 25th. At 11:00AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Friday from 10 AM till the time of the service. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905 in Bob's memory.
