ANDERSON - Robert J. 83, on March 2, 2006 of Ramsey, formerly of Weehawken. Belove husband of Henriette (nee Reinecke) Anderson of 58 years. Loving father of Susan Morgan and husband Jerry of Medford, NJ and Linda Solo and husband Timmy of Bloomingdale, NJ. Dear brother of Ann Anderson of Mahwah. Adored grandfather of Robyn and Brooke. Robert served as Corporate Vice President and Managing Broker of David Cronheim Company. He was a broker with the firm for over 30 years. Mr. Anderson specialized in industrial properties and represented several large developers and investment companies, such as West Essex Industrial Park and Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corp., in the management and leasing of their real estate portfolios. Mr. Anderson had been a member and committee person for the National Association of Industrial Office Parks since its inception in 1975. He also served the Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association since 1965 and was also its past president. He was a member of the New Jersey Industrial Developers Association as well as the Tri-State Commercial Board of Realtors, the Fifth Friday Friars, and the New Jersey Business and Industry Association. A director of the publicly traded United Mobile Homes (UMH) for many years, Mr. Anderson advised the company on various real estate matters including acquisitions and management. Mr. Anderson was a former member of the Ramsey Planning Board, a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, and a US Army WWII Veteran. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 11, 2006 at 10 AM at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Ramsey. Cremation will be private.
