AUGUSTA, Ga. - Deacon Robert Howard Jr., 67, entered into rest on Saturday, May 19, 2012, in University Hospital. Mr. Howard was a retired employee from Kimberly Clark Corporation after twenty-seven years. He was an active member of Greater Young Zion Baptist Church serving on the Deacons Board, Usher Board, and Kitchen Ministry. Mr. Howard leaves to cherish fond loving memories with his dedicated and devoted wife of forty-five years, Barbara J. Howard, daughter, Michelle (Christopher) Howard-McCall; granddaughter, Brittany Howard; grandsons, Christopher Howard and Christian McCall; son-in-law, Marvin Tyree Artis; brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00am, Saturday, May 26, 2012, Greater Young Zion Baptist Church, 405 Sand Bar Ferry Road, Augusta, with Pastor William B. Blount, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Mr. Howard may be viewed today (Friday) from 12:00 to 6:00pm at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta.
