WELLER Robert Howard Weller, age 84 of Derby, formerly of Naugatuck, died Monday, November 13, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in New Milford, he was the son of the late Frederick and Irene Egan Weller. He was a welder for the Bridgeport Brass Co. for 40 years before his retirement in 1985 and was U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving the Pacific. Survivors include his beloved wife, Dorothy Bohmer Weller; a daughter, Melissa (Missy) Weller Lundeen and her husband, Darrick of Ansonia; stepdaughters, Sherry Abbott Hiller and husband, Louis, of Denellen, Fla., and Debra Abbott Beal and husband, Robert, of Milford; five grandchildren, Christopher Lengyel, Ryan and Matthew Lundeen, Tamara Beal and Michael Brangaccio; a great-grandson, Brandon Brangaccio; nieces and nephews, Tim, Keith, Tina, Dawn, Mona, Thomas and Darin. He was predeceased by his sisters, Jean Boris and Patricia Corris; and his brother, Frederick (Bud) Weller. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. meeting directly at Long Hill Baptist Church, Trumbull with the Rev. Mark Aheron, officiating. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday November 16, 2006 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Dennis & D0Arcy Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to St. Jude0s Childrens Hospital or to the Schriner0s Hospital .
