HARRINGTON--Robert Dudley Jr., a lifelong New Englander, died on November 5, 2014, of complications from Lewy Body Disease. Mr. Harrington was an entrepreneur, venture capitalist and financier, working for Morgan Guarantee in New York, NY. He held an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelors from Brown University, and served in the National Guard. Mr. Harrington was a president of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Associates. He was a Commodore of Edgartown Yacht Club and a member of New York Yacht Club, Connecticut Travelers, Round Hill Club, Ad Sports, Greenwich Riding Club, Fairfield Group, New England Society, Pilgrim Society, and three Masonic lodges. He is survived by his wife, Clare Gesualdo Harrington, and sister, Sarah Harrington Williams. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert Dudley Harrington and Ann Harrington. Memorial service: Saturday, November 15, 2014, 11:00am at Round Hill Community Church, 395 Round Hill Rd., Greenwich, CT 06831; reception to follow at Round Hill Club, 33 Round Hill Club Road. Private burial will be held in advance. An additional memorial service will be held in Edgartown, MA, in summer 2015.
