Johnson, Robert Grant, 75, of Fort Lauderdale, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005 after a sudden illness. Born April 12, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA, he is survived by his loving wife Dona; sister Gretchen Baldwin; son Lee; daughters Lane, Lynde (Chris) Voet, Tia Fabiszewski; stepchildren Cameron (Deborah) Story, Llynn (Jack) Shirkey, Lesa (Larry) Swartzman, Elizabeth (Dennis) Wisniewski; 11 grandchildren; dog Maggie; and many dear friends. A graduate of Thiel College, he served in the U.S. Army, and retired after 35 years as a Senior Real Estate Appraiser. He was the first President of the congregation of the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, a past Commodore of Lauderdale Isles Yacht Club, a member of LeGroup Golf Club and a part-time resident of Marsh Harbour, Abaco for the past 25 years, where he was a member of the Royal Marsh Harbour Yacht Club. A memorial celebration of his life will be held Sunday, July 24, at the Lauderdale Isles Yacht and Tennis Club at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Jerome Catholic School in Fort Lauderdale or Little Flower Catholic School in Hollywood. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRED HUNTER'S UNIVERSITY DRIVE FUNERAL HOME.
