CARTER, Robert EmersonNovember 27, 1950 – July 9, 2014The family of Robert Emerson Carter of Bruce, Alberta formerly of Valleyview, announces his passing on July 9, 2014, following a three-year battle with cancer. He now rests peacefully.Bob is survived by his loving family, his wife of 43 years, Brenda; children Cole (Shantella) and Danielle (Gordie) all of Edmonton and Jackie of Valleyview; three grandchildren McKayla and Rayelle Carter and Karter Bishop; his mother Selma Carter of Camrose; one sister Mary Anne (Dan) VanManen of Sherwood Park; along with numerous relatives and friends. Bob was predeceased by his father Harold Carter.A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bruce Community Centre with Pastor Grant Sikstrom officiating.
