GROVETOWN, Ga. - Robert Ellis Woodard, 64, beloved husband of Donna Woodard, entered into rest Monday, July 7, 2008 at Heartland Hospice. Memorial services and entombment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia with full military honors Mr. Woodard had lived in the area for the past 30 years. He retired as a Sergeant First Class from the US Army and later retired as a civil servant from the Army working as a Transportation Specialist for DPW. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by four children, Roy Woodard, Commerce, Georgia, Trent Woodard, Evans, Wally Williams, Grovetown and Wendy Williams, Augusta; two grandchildren, Zachary Woodard, Bethany Williams; a brother, John Gardner Woodard, Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Demarce Craven, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jouette Ellis, Tomball Texas and several nieces and nephews.
