SCHERERVILLE, Ind. | Robert Edward Lee, of Schererville, Ind., passed away peacefully at the Riley Hospice of Munster, December 18, 2014, with his loving family at his side. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375) with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens with Chapel Lawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. and again one prior to services at the funeral home. He is preceded in death by his father, Cleveland Roscoe Lee, and grandparents, Rev. Sherman and Stella Lee and A.C. and Latisha Sanders.He is survived by his wife Donna Lee; daughters, Anita Lewis, Pam Hurn (Tyler) and Lori Parlinac (Rob); sons, Tim Lee (Tina), Terry Lee, and Ted Lee, mother and stepfather, Eunice and Earl Frostick; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Mary Dunn (J.R.), Bill Lee (Jan), Faye Mosley (Jerry), Nancy Newsom, Mike Lee (Judy), and Lisa Barksdale.Robert was born June 17, 1942, in Alabama to Cleveland and Eunice Lee. He worked for many years at Bea Chemical in Lansing, then Kaiser Aluminum in Dolton until his retirement. Mr. Lee was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and loved to watch his grandchildren dirt bike race, but was an avid fan of all types of racing. He was meticulous about his landscaping and grounds at his home. He taught his children by example, showing pride in jobs being done right the first time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Riley House Hospice of Munster.
