Finn, Robert Edward WESTON, Fla. Robert E. Finn, 58, died suddenly on November 17, 2008. He was born in Troy, N.Y. on March 5, 1950, the son of Dolores M. (Fleming) Finn and the late Robert H. Finn. He was a 1968 graduate of CCHS and a 1972 graduate of Siena College. He retired from the IRS in Albany in 2001. He was employed in Fla. in bank security management. Bob was a member of the drum and bugle corps as a youth and later as an instructor in the area Besides his mother, survivors include his wife, Ling Ling, whom he married in China in October 2005. Bob, Ling Ling and seven-year-old daughter, Haijia, started life together in Fla. in 2006 due to his tireless effort to bring them to America. Father of Brian (Kristin) Finn and Laura Finn; brother of Christine Wagar, Michael Finn, Timothy (Rhonda) Finn of Troy and Susan (John) Cardinuto of Gansevoort; several nieces and nephews; cousins, Mary Lou Kinsman and Patti Lamb of Elmira, Kathleen McQuide of Troy and Greg (Barbara) Ruff of Medusa, N.Y.; and special friends, Deborah Corrigan of Troy and Jose Riveron of Fla. His family wishes to thank Bob's wife, daughter and extended family in Fla. for their kindness and help during this difficult time. A memorial service took place in Fla. on November 22, 2008. There will be a memorial Mass at St. Patrick's Church, Troy, N.Y. at a date to be announced.
