CONCORD -- Robert E. Sanborn, 85, died Feb. 6, 2011, at Concord Hospital. He was born in Concord to Donald and Ruth (Wirrell) Sanborn. He worked for 30 years for the United States Postal Service before retiring in 1987. IN HIS LIFE: He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Pauline, who died in December of 2010, and his only brother, Donald, Jr. He is survived by three daughters, Karen Condran of Hooksett, Valerie Hoffman and her husband, Brian, of Concord and Nancy Swenson and her husband, Eric, of Concord; a sister-in-law, Patricia Sanborn of Bethlehem; six grandchildren,- Michael and Zachary Condran, Ben and Annie Hoffman, Lindsey Heath and her husband, Kris, and Courtney Swenson; as well as three nephews, David, Jonathan and Jim Sanborn. SERVICES: Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main St., Concord, with a service held immediately after.
