Robert E. Lee, born in Astoria, NY on March 1, 1921, died November 4, 2007. Alumnus of Parsons School of Design, Veteran of WWII-South Pacific Theatre. Formerly the Art Director for many years at William Darcy Cayton Advertising Agency, later of Fala Ad Agency. The winner of the St. Gaudens Medal for Fine Draftmenship and other art director awards. Robert was an avid NY Giants fan. He coached for many years CYO Track and Little League Football in his hometown, Pleasantville, NY. He is survived by his wife, Claire Cecelia (nee Phelan); his children, Robert, Jr., Kevin, Rory, Padraic Lee, and Mary Kate Travers. Robert is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Daniel and sister, Vivian Vacey. Reposing, Maher Funeral Home, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Thursday, 10 AM, Holy Innocents Church. Interment, Kensico Cemetery. Mass Cards Preferred.
