Robert E. Lee, 89, of Homosassa, Fl, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice House, Lecanto, Florida. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and arrived in the area in 1978, coming from Pittsburgh. He was an Industrial Electrician with IBEW - Local Union #5 of Pittsburgh. He was also a member of St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Crystal River, Fl, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII, as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus, All Saints Council #6954, Homosassa, Fl. Robert loved fishing and boating. He is predeceased by his parents Posey and Minnie Lee and his sister Myrtle Lee. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Lee of Homosassa; 2 stepdaughters: Mary Lou (Bob) Scheeser of Westerville, Ohio, and Carol A. Niedecker of Pittsburgh, PA; and a niece, Rita Lee of Pittsburgh, PA. A visitation is scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2008, between the hours of 4 PM until 7 PM, with a rosary service at 6:30 PM at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, Fl. Funeral Mass is scheduled for the following day, Tuesday, 10:00 AM at St. Benedicts Catholic Church, Crystal River, Fl, with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Lecanto, Fl.
