East Lyme - Robert E. Harrington, 81, formerly of Uncasville, passed away Jan. 10, 2013, at Sava Senior Care at Bride Brook in Niantic.He was born in New London, on Sept. 25, 1931, graduating of the former Chapman Technical High School. Bob was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and had worked for over 37 years as a department clerk at Electric Boat in Groton.He is survived by his wife, Ethel B. Harrington; his son, Michael Harrington; and his sisters, Phyllis Rossetti of Waterford and Frances Kinsall and her husband, Al, of New London.A reception in his honor will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the home of Frances and Al Kinsall, 22 Penny Lane, New London.Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St., New London is assisting with the arrangements.
