Robert E. Davis, 69, died Feb. 12, 2006, at his home. He was born in Bristol, Conn., and lived in Fort Pierce for 18 years, coming from Connecticut. He served in the Army in Germany. Before retirement, he was a heating technician in Connecticut. He was a member of AMVETS of Fort Pierce and American Legion Post 358. Survivors include his father, Howard Davis of Rockyhill, Conn.; sons, Ralph Fraley of Farmington, Conn., Michael Davis of West Hartford, Conn., and Raymond Davis of Fort Pierce; daughter, Deborah Patten of Haymarket, Va.; brother, James Davis of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Dorothy Jensen of Charelton, Mass.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to AMVETS, 2024 S. U.S. Highway 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34950. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Feb. 15 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Fort Pierce. Arrangements are by Veterans Cremation & Burial Society, Stuart.
