Robert Steven Davis, 53, died July 9, 2010, at Martin Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Queens, N.Y., and live in Stuart for more than 20 years. He attended the public schools of Queens County, N.Y., and Nassau Community College. He was certified in auto mechanics and was self-employed in the automotive industry, which included auto mechanics and car detailing. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ in Stuart, where he served on the usher board. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Graham Davis of Stuart; son, Robert Bailey of Stuart; stepchildren, Jacqueline Melissa Graham, Jeremy Rolle Graham and Justin Lamont Graham, all of Stuart; his grandmother, Bessie L. Davis of Inwood, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Garner and Lily Davis. Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. July 16 at Thorne's Mortuary Chapel in Stuart. A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. July 17 at the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ in Stuart, with the Rev. Jerry Gore officiating. Burial will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart.
