MOUNDVILLE Robert Bruce Arrington, age 85, of Mound-ville, died Nov. 17, 2007, at home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Concord Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Kos-ter officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. His wife, Jean Arrington; five sisters and three brother; and parents, Ed and Mary Arring-ton, preceded him in death.Survivors include daughters, Pam Smith (Freddie), Karen Roberts (Steve) and Mary Rob-erts (Joey) of Moundville; son, Roger Arrington (Sharon) of Akron; brother, Thomas Arring-ton of Greensboro; grandchil-dren, Bethany Arrington, Jeana Roberts and Morgan Roberts.Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ar-rington, Eddie Johnson, Joey Roberts, Steve Roberts, Freddie Smith and Johnny Madison.Honorary pallbearers are Mervin and Sylvia Hoggle, Dar-lene Woods, Ollie Evans, Tereasa Paris, Hospice of West Alabama, First Responders, VA Home Health, Dr. Nichani, Dana Stephens, Amedisys Home Health and Dr. Larry Skelton.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Ala-bama or the donor's favorite charity.The family would like to ex-tend a special thank you to Sylvia Hoggle who could al-ways bring a smile to his face when on one else could.
