->MANSET - Robert Allen Hall, 54, died unexpectedly, Oct. 10, 2013, while out on the ocean that he loved. He was born, March 10, 1959, the son of Hylie Kenneth Hall Jr. and Yvonne Julia (Butler) Black.When not painting you could find him out on his boat. He was known as "Bobby" to his friends and family.Bobby is survived by his mother, Yvonne Black of Seal Cove; two children, Heidi Braga of Iowa, and Brian Grindle of Portland; and four stepchildren, Casey Hall of Stonington, Cassie Lynn Roskum of Bass Harbor, Blake Parsons of Tremont, and Ross Parsons of Mount Desert. Bobby was always bragging about all of them and especially his grandchildren, Sage Braga of Iowa, and Wylliam Roskum of Bass Harbor. He was the oldest of a family of seven, Blaine Hall of Westbrook, Melissa Hall of Bass Harbor, Keith Peterson of West Tremont, Elizabeth Austin of Eastbrook, Mary Ellen Webb of Ellsworth, and Chris Peterson of Seal Cove; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Bobby was also survived by his special friend, Deb Gilley and her children, Mindy and Jillian. Bobby was predeceased by his father, Hylie Kenneth Hall Jr.Graveside services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Center Cemetery, Seal Cove, with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Buchanan officiating.
