Funeral services for Robert Alan "Capt. Bob" Wall of Bethel Springs are 12 pm. Tues. Jan. 27 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bolivar where he was a communicant with Fr. Carl Hood officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar are in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wall 57 died Fri. Jan. 23 at McNairy County General Hospital in Selmer following an automobile accident. He was born Dec. 11 1946 in Chicago ILL. the son of Lorraine Kasper Mierzwa of Berwin ILL. and the late Walter Wall and lived in Aurora Colorado prior to moving here in May of 1999. While in Aurora he retired as police captain of the Fitzsimmons Army Medical Police Department and was currently employed as an addictions treatment counselor with Corrections Corporation of America in Whiteville. He received his bachelor's degree from Columbia College in Aurora Colorado and served in the Air Force during Viet Nam receiving the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Mr. Wall was also co-president of JennStar Records and was artist manager for his daughter Jennifer Clifton. Survivors include his wife Annette Chuk Wall whom he married on Jan. 26 1974; a daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and James Clifton of Ramer; his mother Lorraine Kasper Mierzwa of Berwin ILL; his mother-in-law Annette Chuk; a sister and brother in law Deborah Chuk and Joseph Chuk all of Bridgeview ILL.; and a nephew and niece in law Joseph Norman Chuk and Noleen Chuk both of Chicago ILL.
