WILTON -- Rita V. Shea, 92, died Dec. 29, 2009 at The Elms Care &amp; Rehabilitation Center in Milford. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., Dec. 29, 1917, to Ursise and Bridget (Dwyer) Fournier. She resided in Wilton since 1996 and formerly lived in New Jersey for 17 years, Cambridge and Waltham, Mass., for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and at one time was a member of a women's bowling league. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Milford and a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Family members include two daughters, Patricia E. Sawyer of Billerica, Mass., and Roberta M. Tibbetts of Sanbornton; two sons, Paul E. Shea of Jacobstown, N.J., and Stephen F. Shea of Marlborough, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. IN HER LIFE: She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Shea, who died in 1972; two sisters, Margaret Marr and Mary Gould; and a brother, Joseph Fournier. SERVICES: Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Smith &amp; Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial will be in Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Mass.
