TYNGSBORO - Rita S. (Hood) Johnson, 78, died Saturday, June 28, at her home. She was the wife of Hugh Johnson, with whom she celebrated their 56th anniversary on Sept. 30, 2002.Born in Lowell on July 3, 1925, she graduated from Lowell High School in 1942.She worked at Raytheon Corp. in Lowell, Andover and Bedford, before retiring in 1988.For more than 25 years she and her husband worked the flea market in Hookset, N.H.Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Loretta Hood of Lowell; and in-laws, Donald and Vanessa (Nason) Johnson, Virginia (McCann) Johnson, and Phyllis (Scott) Johnson, all of Lowell, and Dorothy (Johnson) and Charles Tucker, of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews.
