Loving mother of the late Linda (Al) Sutherland (Connie), the late Nancy (Robert) Forrest, Marian (John) MacDonald, James (Christina) Miller; cherished grandmother of William, Adam, Elizabeth and Luke; sister of the late Richard (Peggy) Houck, the late Gerald (late Jean) Houck and Ruth (late Donald) Klas; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Services to be held at a future date. As per Rita's wishes, her body was donated to the University of Buffalo Medical School in the interest of Science and Public Health. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
