LACHANCE, Rita Eleanor Member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Women's LeaguePeacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in her 93rd year. Rita Eleanor Lachance (nee Lamarche) of Lapasse, beloved wife of the late Armedose Lachance. Loved and cherished mother of Liette Fletcher (Jim Ryan), Petawawa, Annette Gervais (Harry), Yvette Deschamps (Frank), Mona Lacroix (Ralph), Rene Lachance (Kim), Marie Gilchrist (Raymond) all of Lapasse and Lise Lachance (Leo Herman) of Kanata and the late Leo Lachance and Aline Lachance. Mother-in-law of Huguette Lachance. Loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Predeceased by grandson Robert Lachance. Dear sister of Marie Rochon (late Elie), Annette Roy (Emery) and the late Laurier Lamarche (late Lillian), Theresa Marino (late Lawrence), Yvonne Dupuis (late Albert), Patricia Leblanc (late Larry) and Georgette Kelly. Sister-in-law of Clayton Kelly. Sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late William and Virginia (nee Marchand) Lamarche. Friends are invited to share their memories of Rita with her family during Visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning, October 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lapasse.
