PAQUET Rita Gertrude Paquet, age 79, of Milford, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2007 in her home. She was born on April 27, 1928, in Rye, N.Y., to the late Pompillo and Maria Riccio Iorillo. She graduated from Warren Harding High School in 1946. Before retiring, she was employed as a secretary/accountant for Milford Automatics. In her spare time, she was an active member of the American Legion Aux. Post 196 and St. Agnes Church. Mrs. Paquet is survived by her devoted son Robert Edward Paquet, Jr and his wife Elaine of Middletown and sister Emily Garan of Maitland, Fla.. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Paquet, Sr, and siblings Anthony, Daniel, Dominic and Josephine. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 31, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 1st at 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in her name to St. Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, Ct. 06460.
